Our World Championships are always
special and unique events because they give all of us in the
World Tang Soo Do family the tremendous opportunity to gather in
one place and engage in friendly and spirited competition, to
make new friends (and see old friends) from all over the world,
as we celebrate our commitment and dedication to the pursuit of
our art. However, this year’s 13th World Championship is an
especially momentous occasion for our organization for two
historic reasons. It is being held for the very first time in
Greensboro, North Carolina – near the site of our future World
Headquarters in Burlington, North Carolina – and it marks our
Grandmasters elevation to 9th Dan. Please join us at this years
tournament to commemorate this historic occasion and compete in
